Just a peek!

Here is just one quick peek for the bride and groom from Saturday. This was the very last frame of the day. It was a gorgeous day for this beautiful wedding out in Suffolk! I know you guys are anxious to see these, so I promise to share the images from the wedding soon!

So here's a peek at the bride and groom. :-)

Downtown Bridal Session

Misty and Chris were one of my 2007 wedding couples. They are such a fun couple and were up for anything for this post-wedding bridal session. With that in mind, we decided to go downtown and have some fun. These are a very tiny few of what we got that day. We were having so much fun and going from place to place, we ended up being at it for a few hours. It took some time for all of our schedules to work out and for the weather to cooperate, then a day or so before the session they were calling for storms the evening we were scheduled to do these. After talking it over, we decided to go for it earlier in the day with the harsh, bright, morning/lunchtime sun, contrast and all. I'm glad we did.

Little cutie

This is little Paulie. :-) This was a surprise portrait session for his Mommy as a surprise Mother's Day gift. A sweet little cutie who has super great parents.

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to all of my Mommies and soon-to-be Mommies!!! :-)

For Mother's Day my wish was to do a portrait session where I would end up with two 24x30s, one with each of my kiddos, to hang in my home. Let me just say that it is FAR easier when I'm behind the camera, not trying to take the portraits and be in front of it. It was a fun challenge. I wish I could've convinced my son to lose the socks and put on jeans, but he did eventually agree to change out of the Lightning McQeen shirt and, as any parent of a 4 year old knows, I'll take what I can get haha!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Mother's Day! Me? I'm playing on the computer, watching TV in bed and being served all of my meals all day. Oh, and I have to decide when I can fit 3 straight hours into my schedule in the near future to use the gift certificate my family gave me to a local day spa for some needed relaxation. :-) Of course I'm growing bored of "relaxing" for the day, so I will probably soon go pull out my new macro lens and try some hobby photography of the flowers I picked out last evening while I was out shopping and then go take my Mom out to dinner.

Added a little vintage and texture....

Jennifer and Patrick - Engagement Session

These two are getting married in August. Such a sweet and loving couple and my camera loves them. I had a great time doing their engagement session and getting to know them a couple of weeks ago and I'm looking forward to photographing their wedding in a few months. :-)

I always like to process one or two images from each session a little differently, so here is one with a little different processing.
